Common Uses
- Hauling firewood and farm material around a property
- Spreading or delivering aggregate on driveway and grading projects
- Moving roofing tear-off and construction waste to the landfill
- Seasonal cleanup of brush, leaves, and yard waste
Before You Buy
Check that your tow vehicle is rated for the trailer fully loaded, not just empty: aggregate and soil are heavy, and a dump trailer reaches its weight rating quickly. Confirm the hitch and coupler size, the brake controller in your truck, and how the dump bed is powered and charged before your first load.
Care and Maintenance
Check tire pressure and lug nut torque before each trip, test the lights and brakes, and keep wheel bearings greased on the schedule the manufacturer recommends. Washing off road salt and mud and inspecting the coupler, safety chains, and wiring regularly will keep the trailer road-ready. Keep the dump battery charged and check hydraulic fluid and hoses regularly.
